About Manipulations-R-Us UNMANIPULATED photos to the pool only please!

Photoshop/paintshop pro/GIMP/etc. photo editing group:

Do you like to edit photos? Do you want to see what others can do to your photos? This is the group for you!

You can post an original photograph to the pool once each week. By doing this you are giving other members permission to edit it. If you think it could be even a small chance that in the future you will want to sell your picture or own exclusive rights to it, DO NOT POST IT HERE! By posting a photo to this group, you are expressing consent for derivative works to be posted to the photostreams of other members of this group. You agree that the creator of this derivative work owns their own creation.

Your original must be unedited (Light editing is ok - crop, straighten the horizon or minor adjustment of color and/or brightness/contrast.) Please be sure that all sizes are available to download or post a link to the large or original size in your description. Only post a photo to the pool if you own it! Posting photos that are not taken by yourself will cause you to be kicked and banned from the group forever! If you have something specific that you want to see to happen to your picture, you can specify this in your photo description. There is no need to make a thread for it like some other groups, so it is easier for you to keep up with what happens to your picture from the comments. The easiest way to see your new comments is on the Flickr home page on the right column and click the new comments where it says "your photos".

You may make as many edits you want to do to other photos in the group pool. After you post the edited photo on your photostream, click on the all size buttons and choose the small size. Copy the text and post it as a comment on the original picture. Please only use small size, and make sure your photo is public so that people can click from the comment to see the larger size. We do this small size to lower the load time for viewing the original picture.

A good way to make sure you can find the original photo again to post the edit on (this may be more of a problem when this group has more members) is...to fave it. Of course you can remove this fave after you are done with the edit if you choose to.

Please take the time to read on licensing at the Creative Commons website. Also be sure to read this thread for how this applies to this group.

If you license your photos under "All Rights Reserved" or with "NoDerivs" included in the license, you will need to post here to confirm that you give other members of this group to create derivatives based on your work.
