Man Ray is the biggest and best Surrealistic group on Flickr.
Here, you'll find work paying homage to and or inspired by Man Ray works .
This is a black and white and sometimes colour picture group.

What makes a Man Ray picture?
Man Ray the Surrealist was a pioneering American Artist who lived in France,
Producing puzzling, mysterious,emotive and sometimes even humorous works but all SURREALIST!
If you can't decide if your work fits here
ask yourself if your image could be described by several of the above descriptive words.

His photography incorporated many manipulative techniques
Which can now be reproduced with Photoshop et all.

Our aim is to produce dreamlike images with this spirit in mind.

Man Ray admins reserve the right to delete without informing you and at our discretion. Think of this as a constantly juried show. You enter a photo, it may or may not stay. Each admin has been given their own right to delete, and their decisions will stand.

Please Tag your photos with manray and/or surreal (it helps us clear out spammers!)

Please don't: Upload images of dead animals or people and animals suffering, any blood sport event or bullfighting and or bull running,
portrait photography, fashion photography, unless Surreal! Blurred macro and blurred shots of any kind, frontal nudity, genitalia and/or "intimate moments" between consenting partners in public areas of Flickr
