ของคุณเกี่ยวกับน้ำ ทั้งในแง่บวกและลบ เช่น แหล่งน้ำที่ชอบที่สุด ผู้คนที่ชีวิตต้องพึ่งพาน้ำ
รูปที่ทำให้คุณนึกถึงน้ำ คลอง แม่น้ำ ทะเลที่สะอาดหรือสกปรก รูปที่สร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้
คุณปกป้องน้ำ หรือ รูปลักษณะอื่นเกี่ยวกับน้ำ

กิจกรรมเริ่มต้นในโครงการ “คืนรอยยิ้มสู่สายน้ำ...เจ้าพระยาปลอดมลพิษ” ซึ่งจะจัดขึ้น
ระหว่างวันที่ 22- 29 พฤษภาคม 2552 คือกิจกรรม “พายเรือสร้างรอยยิ้มให้เจ้าพระยา”
โดยมีกลุ่มนักกิจกรรมรณรงค์กรีนพีซและประชาชนทั่วไปที่มีใจต่อสู้เพื่ออนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อม
ร่วมกันพายเรือจากปากน้ำโพ จังหวัดนครสวรรค์ ซึ่งเป็นต้นแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา ล่องลงสู่แม่น้ำ
เจ้าพระยาตอนล่างผ่านกรุงเทพมหานครซึ่งเป็นเมืองหลวง และศูนย์กลางการบริหาร
ราชการของประเทศ รวมเป็นระยะทางประมาณ 350 กิโลเมตร เส้นทางการเดินทางครั้งนี้
เป็นการเดินทางจากต้นน้ำแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา สู่ปลายน้ำที่มีปัญหาคุณภาพน้ำเน่าเสียมากขึ้น
ตามลำดับ

กิจกรรม “พายเรือสร้างรอยยิ้มให้เจ้าพระยา” เป็นกิจกรรม
แสดงพลังของกลุ่มอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อมเพื่อส่งสัญญาณและเรียกร้องให้ทุกภาคส่วนได้มี
ส่วนร่วมแก้ไขปัญหามลพิษในแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยาอย่างจริงจัง และปกป้องแหล่งน้ำสะอาดที่
สำคัญของประเทศ กลุ่มนักกิจกรรมจะแวะเยี่ยมชุมชนอนุรักษ์แหล่งน้ำต่างๆ ที่อยู่ริมแม่น้ำ
เจ้าพระยาเพื่อสนับสนุนให้กำลังใจ สร้างเครือข่าย และ แลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ในการ
อนุรักษ์และปกป้องแหล่งน้ำ สำรวจแหล่งกำเนิดมลพิษทางน้ำตลอดเส้นทาง เก็บขยะ
ระหว่างการเดินทาง รณรงค์การท่องเที่ยวริมแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา แจกเอกสารให้ความรู้ และขอ
การสนับสนุนประชาชนร่วมลงชื่อเพื่อผลักดันให้คณะกรรมการทรัพยากรน้ำแห่งชาติเร่งแก้
ปัญหามลพิษทางน้ำ โดยการปรับปรุงมาตรการที่ใช้ในการควบคุมและป้องกันมลพิษ จากพื้นที่ อุตสาหกรรมที่เพิ่มขึ้น เกษตรกรรมที่มีการใช้สารเคมีมาก และความหนาแน่นของประชากรที่เพิ่มมากขึ้น ทำให้มีการระบายน้ำทิ้งน้ำเสียจากครัวเรือนสู่แม่น้ำมากขึ้น และออกมาตรการเชิงรุกในการปกป้องคุ้มครองแหล่งน้ำสะอาดหรือบริเวณที่ยังไม่เกิดปัญหา

Be a part of the campaign, "Make River Smile...Toxic Free Chao Phraya" by
uploading your photos about water in both positive and negative aspects. For example,
your favourite water places, people whose lives depend on water, photos that
remind you of water, clean or dirty canals, rivers or oceans, photos that inspire
you to protect water, etc.

The initial activity of "Make River Smile...Toxic Free Chao Phraya" occurred during
22-29 May 2009 is "Paddling to give smile back to Chao Phraya." Greenpeace
activists with a spirit to fight for the environment row canoes from Paknampo
district, Nakhonsawa province, the beginning of Chao Phraya, to the lower part of
the river, passing Bangkok, the capital and public administration center of
Thailand. This is 350-kilometer journey from the beginning of Chao Phraya to the
downstream where water is more and more deteriorated.

The "Paddling to give smile back to Chao Phraya." activity is a collective force of
the environmental movement to highlight and urge all sectors to take real action
against water pollution in Chao Phraya river and protect the clean water sources
of Thailand. The activists will visit the river protection communities along the
river to encourage, build networks and share experiences on water sources
conservation and protection, survey the water pollution sources, collect garbage,
promote Chao Phraya tourism, hand out leaflets and ask people to sign up to
push the National Water Resources Board to immediately tackle water pollution by
improving pollution control and prevention measures of pollution from increased industrial areas, chemical-intensive agriculture and dense population, resulting in more waste water discharge from communities, and issue proactive measures to protect the clean water sources where pollution has not occurred yet.
