PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING:

This group is a collection of pictures portraying the Performing Art of Magic: from Stage to Closeup, from illusionist to Production to Sideshow Arts to the Bizarre (especially Bizarre Magick, we LOVE Bizarre Magick!) Extra points and admiration will go to pictures of magic employing Lovecraftian elements. (Hey, I started the group, suffer with my bizarrer tendencies!)

Show your passion for the art and post your pics here. Please share your pics of mages known and unknown. Great publicity shots are welcome! Photos of vintage magic props, automata, posters are all welcome. Headstones of magi that have passed to the great mystery are also welcome. Eclecticity is cool here. Also we encourage you to use the "place the pic on the map" feature for the pictures you add to the collection. It will provide some cool information about where our pictures are all from.

The RULES:

No photographs depicting exposure of the arcane secrets of the craft as this is a public group and the eyes of the uninitiated would burn from their sockets.

No photographs unrelated to the Performing Art of Magic.

This is not related to Magic the Gathering. This is not a Harry Potteresque Group, nor is it a Pagan group. It is dealing with the Performing Art. so please respect the focus of the group. That is not to say that magicians do not employ either Potteresque or Pagan elements, which are more than welcome if in the context of the performing art.

Failure to abide with these guidelines will result in administrative "adjustments" and we will ensure that Cthulhu will devour you first at his coming.
