About Mad in America (and the world)

The title is simply in honor of the book, and anyone from anywhere is welcome to submit shots.
This is a group to foster photography revolving around mental health issues as experienced by friends, family, and patients themselves contending with manic depression, schizophrenia or any other serious psychiatric or psychological issue.
Without sounding too much like your mom, please treat the subject with the dignity it warrants. Include shots that can be accessed by a public group, and that hopefully include a narrative of your experience. Please do not include shots that visually show anything to do with knives, cutting, scarring, etc.
Though this group is not affiliated with Robert Whitaker's incredible book, Mad in America: Bad Science, Bad Medicine, and the Enduring Mistreatment of the Mentally Ill, it is a highly-recommended read. Link below.
