This group is all about taking macro shots (and telephoto shots) using the cheesiest equipment. Users of fancy cameras are welcome, but try to be nice to the rest of us. The originator of this group uses Kodak Cheesy Share point and shoot cameras, sometimes using a jeweler's loupe or magnifying glass hand held in front of the lens. (In some cases by holding the camera directly into the eyepiece of a telescope). This is not because he wants to, but it's all about making do with what's available and affordable. Try to keep it clean and family friendly. Aside from that, we try to be pretty permissive. All shots are welcome, especially macro shots taken with cheesy El Cheapo kits. Blurry and amateur shots are okay here. The idea is to have fun and be creative.

Several people have told me groups that don't have a mandatory comment commitment seldom last, so I guess we'll put that to a vote and see if that becomes a requirement. In the meantime, please let me strongly encourage you to comment on the photos of others in this group. Everyone likes a pat on the back and it means alot to know your work is being viewed and appreciated.
