As a result of a watered down group pool, I'm sorry but we have to start making some public observations. Take note: Chances are, the little flower button on your camera is not going to produce "macro photography." For good, constructive information about what is and is not true macro photography check out the discussions here and here. In the future, the group mods will respect that some people may have a loose interpretation of what macro is, but we will not allow photo's that obviously don't follow the basic premise to continue to remain in the pool.

Also, this is a group for Macro discussion as well as a place to look at sweet macro photographs. This is not the correct place to promote your own group or to spam our discussions. For new group announcements please check out gweedo and zen's group therapy, or your personal favorite announcement group. From now on, anyone weighing down the board will be booted and banned. seriously.
