About The Machine Age: Human Degradation POOL CLOSED

I've closed this pool. "The Machine Age" was intended to be about the dehumanization which seems to have become deriguer at the same time that we've moved to more and more machinery.

Over time, too many of the submissions emphasized machinery, and not enough of them were about the loss of humanity. The few which did that often did that really well, but they were so rare that it meant that shaping the pool to fit the idea would require days of pruning, followed by an "approved submission" process. I'm not willing to do either for the very few submissions which hit the nail on the head. So I'm closing the pool - - sorry.
