The M-Mount group is intended to showcase excellent photos by M-mount and LTM-mount lenses and provide users of M-mount and LTM-mount cameras a systematic way of comparing some of the most advanced optics available to photography. The idea is to create a repository of well organized images taken with M-mount and LTM-mount lenses. Photos may be taken with a film or digital body. All that really matters is the lens. (Note: LTM-mount lenses made by former Soviet Union [FSU] manufacturers are NOW included.)

All photos are required to have the appropriate tag from the list below to stay in the pool. If your photos do not have the appropriate tag the Fdbot software will delete them.

Any photo that is not appropriately tagged will be removed from the pool. The fdbot will scan the pool twice daily and will remove any photos inappropriately tagged adding the following tag notification: 'Removed from M-mount for tag'. If you wish your photo to be in the pool please tag it again with the official group tag and resubmit.

The discussion board will also provide an area for exchange of opinions on the optics hosted in the group. Your civility when discussing lenses will be greatly appreciated (in fact, requested).

Posting rules:

1. The photograph must be taken with an interchangeable M-mount or LTM-mount lens on a film or digital body.

2. All photos must have the valid group M-mount lens tag (SEE THE LIST OF TAGS BELOW - you may cut and paste if you will). Photos that do not, will be deleted by the fdbot. Please feel free to add the appropriate tag and resubmit.

3. Posting limit: there isn't one for the time being. But please post your best photos, esp. the ones that display the strengths of the lenses.

Posting advice:

1. Please remember to use double quotes around your tags so that Flickr does not take them to be multiple tags because of the spaces.

2. If your photo is deleted by the fdbot it will probably be because of a tag omission or tag mistake. Please add the appropriate info and resubmit.
