About Luxor Egypt

Photography in Luxor Egypt...The Temples, Valley of the Kings, Nile, Karnak and the City.

These temples at Luxor must have been amazingly colorful in their prime... Egyptians decorated nearly every surface... Nothing was left undecorated... Even the exterior blocks where carved.. Under statement was not an ancient trait... The use of borders was interesting because they very much mimic or reflect the borders we do today... Almost as if the idea of a border to seperate panels of paintings is ingrained in the human mind at a very basic level....
