Welcome to the NZ Panasonic Lumix Competition.
Week 4 Tips & Tricks | Read More about the Competition | How to Enter | Terms & Conditions
Read up on the tips & tricks, then put your newfound skills to the test: send us your favourite night or low-light photo taken using any camera and the skills you’ve learned here, and have the results judged by master photographer Geoff Steven – Director and Assignment Editor of OUR PLACE, the World Heritage photography project.
You could win your choice of the extra-tough Panasonic Lumix FT1 or the extra-wide and high-zoom Panasonic Lumix TZ7 digital still camera, both with HD Movie capability – or one of two runner-up prizes of a super-compact Panasonic Lumix FS4!
Week 1 (3 Aug - 10 Aug): Kids
Week 2 (10 Aug - 17 Aug): Action
Week 3 (17 Aug - 24 Aug): Travel
Week 4 (24 Aug - 31 Aug): Night
Each week we will be selecting a Grand Prize Winner and two Runner-Up winners.
Every week each entrant can submit 3 photos. The photos will be judged by our expert photographer (hint, look to the Week 4 tips & tricks for a good idea of his judging criteria!).
The Grand Prize winner will receive their choice of either the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT1GN or the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7GN model.
In addition, eight runner-up winners will be selected. Each will receive a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS4GN which takes 8.1 mega-pixel photos. The DMC-FS4GN features a 4x Optical Zoom, 2.5” LCD, Face Detection and Lithium-Ion Battery.
So read up on the Low-light Photography Tips and Tricks, and get out there taking your best photos!
