About Lumiere Video

With the introduction of Flickr video, many shutterbugs are discovering a whole new medium, and exploring their voice and style in many ways. But Flickr frames the feature as "moving photographs," and the 90-second limit reinforces this. Flickr video, then, seems a perfect platform for the Lumiere aesthetic. Natural, unscripted, unretouched scenes of the world and everyday life.

Videos posted to this group should:

- Be taken from a fixed perspective.
- Contain no edits or effects.
- Include no sound, or only natural sound (no narration or music).

Only videos can be posted to this group, and members can post only five videos to the group pool per day.
