About Suburban Life in Columbia

Lately I've noticed that the suburbs can be rather boring places to live. This group is my attempt to prove to myself that the burbs aren't all that boring after all.

Flickr has a few groups dedicated to Columbia, Maryland, but they receive little to no traffic. Every now and then someone will post new photos or new conversations, but I can't believe that a community of close to 100,000 people would be this void of inspiration and artistic individuals.

Along with this group I've created a blog about living in the burbs. I'm hoping to create a photo of the week post, which will be taken from the best photos submitted to this group of Columbia, MD. I haven't decided on a URL name for my blog yet, but as soon as i do and as soon as the blog is online I will post it to this group. If we get some traction and many photo posts then I will increase my blog to a photo of the day.
