About Lumb Bank, The Ted Hughes Arvon Centre
Lumb Bank, The Ted Hughes Arvon Centre is the West Yorkshire writing house of The Arvon Foundation. An eighteenth century millowner's home, Lumb is beautiful stone buildings, gardens and woodland set in stunning Pennine countryside.
Arvon runs a programme of week-long residential writing courses and Lumb Bank has welcomed, delighted and inspired zillions of people over the decades.
This group is an invitation to all who have passed through Lumb's doors to share images and memories.
