About Luarbiasa Photography Luarbiasa is a Malay word for extraordinary (ex·tra·or·di·naire) or extraōrdinārius in Latin. We envisage to capture extraordinary images defined by our own imagination. Who we are originally? We are based mostly in East Coast Malaysia and we love all sorts of 'genre' of photography either landscape, macro, infrared, people or even street shooting. We wish to improve ourself and we love to go out together and to capture the beauty that God has created. We are not affiliated to any photography group. Later, since we go out together & we like the company of each other, we call ourselves rhodong-rhodong (a Pahang dialect for friends) Luarbiasa Photography! Thanks to dR Ali who introduce & popularize the term "Luarbiasa" to all of us. He got the idea after watching Indonesian Mr Tukul Arowana in Empat Mata Talk Show. The group is inclusive rather than exclusive. Meaning that anyone can be rhodong Luarbiasa Photography, even if they are not using flickr. Flickr is just a medium to share the photographs. This group also not interested in making money. In fact we are spending our own money for all activities. No free lunch here either. Sorry. Rule? We have no rule here except that....respect each other. And keep on learning. Learn & serve others. You can talk about gears but more important than your gears is to use them as much as possible. From time to time we will organise more photo outings & more trainings. Why train people? Because we believe in taklim-wa-taklum (learn & teach). If one want to learn more, he has to teach. |
