About Low Fi B&W (analog only)
I wanted to find a group that featured work from a wide variety of simple cameras (the simpler, the better) using black and white film or paper. i wasn't able to find one, so i made one.
Simple cameras ~ pinhole, toy cameras, box cameras, old folders and the like ~ using Black and White Film or Paper negatives. Simple PNS cameras and less 'electronic' Polaroid cameras (like the Big Shot) are ok, too. for more on this "low fi" group defination read this discussion .
Your prized prints to your worst mistakes, damaged film, inkjet transfers, lifts and other such stuff.... ALL are welcome, as long as original came from B&W film or paper. The technique doesn't have to be simple, just the camera.
* Welcome exceptions, providing the original was....yup, you guessed it....shot on B&W in a simple camera are Duotones & Alt Processes within the Lith/Sepia/VDB hues ( i love cyanotypes & colored gums., but there are other great Alt. groups for them!).
No posting rules other than what's above and "PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE" OF POOL SPACE ie. posting excessive amounts of pics in a row... thanks!
