11 Aug 11 - Hi and welcome to Old Books. Fairly straightforward - just send in your photos of lovely old books. The pool is moderated so keep your best shots coming in and try not to send too many similar shots all at once. Let's mix it up. Most of all, let's see the actual books - not flat scans of covers and pages. Abstracted parts of books is fine, but it must be about the book. Fee free to start discussions.

About Old BooksSimple as that - old books. If you have a love of dusty old tomes from the days when they were made with care, or from an era with a distinctive style, then this group is for you. We want shelf upon shelf, or stack upon stack of your lovely old books - the more creative the image the better. Single books are welcome too - and we just love up close and personal details like cracked and worn spines, loose binding, marbled sheets and ruffled page edges. The books don't have to be tatty though - they just have to have that certain something. |
