About love leaves

joining this group means you:

1) like the idea of writing/doodling on something as organic and ephemeral as foliage, and then releasing it back into the urban wilderness, in hopes that someone will see that a leaf is speaking to him/her and smile

2) want to partake in writing/doodling on a leaf and then releasing it back into the urban wilderness. all you have to do is collect your leaves, microwave them for about 30 seconds (to get the moisture out), and then iron them inbetween sheets of wax paper. press them between heavy books for an hour or so. apply the paint, wait for it to dry, and you're ready to go.

3) take photographs like the ones you see on here to document your contribution, and post!


we are a group of UBC BFA students who want not to change the world, but to add a little whimsy to it. maybe someday we'll make a book of this.
