Welcome to the LOVE OF HORSES group; Flickr's largest group dedicated exclusively to equine photography and equine related art. Whether you are an owner, breeder, rider, model horse collector, artist, or simply love horses, this group is dedicated to HORSES and the many ways in which horses have touched our lives. This group is all about horses - HORSES ONLY PLEASE (no humans!) Your photo should have a horse in it - if not, it will be deleted.

EMPHASIS IS ON THE HORSE - NOT HUMANS, NOT HORSEMANSHIP ( i.e., not someone riding, kissing, hugging a horse, not someone feeding, training, or grooming a horse, not barn cats or dog companions, not cute kids with horses, etc). If humans dominate the theme of the photo, it will be removed. Additionally, landscape-type photos where the horse(s) is a teeny-tiny speck in the distance, indistinct, or barely visible, will also be removed.

Please post your own material (be original). If posting photos that are not your own ( i.e. taken from another web site, scanned from a calendar, book, magazine, etc), PLEASE credit the original source (name of artist, photographer, book, a link, some kind of reference, etc). If we recognize copyrighted and/or plagiarized images stolen from another source without giving credit to the original source, user may be removed from this group and all his/her pictures removed also.

Leaving comments behind on other members' photos is highly encouraged and appreciated! Everyone likes to get feedback, right? :-)

We also welcome images from artistic renderings such as paintings, sketches, drawings, sculpture, statues, model horses, etc.
