About Louisiana State Parks

We seem to be state lacking funding, visitors and interest to our Louisiana State Parks. Many of our parks are underfunded or closed. WE NEED tourism to continue recovering; and our beautiful and truly unique State Parks are one way to bring people back to our area.

Hoping this group will provide some shots that will entice folks to visit our parks more often, and second, alert our legislators to start putting some money back into them, so we all can enjoy them in the future! So many southern state parks are being closed or turned over to private entities, and without interest or funding, this trend is likely to continue! Let's not let that happen in Louisiana....
