I have an idea for an app..
|
OK then tell me about it here, give me as much info as you can and I will give it some thought and see if I can come up with something for you.
If it turns out to be a commercially viable project which makes me a million quid for negligable effort, I'll split it with you 50/50 and we will both bugger off somewhere warm and laze about on the beach supping cocktails :-))

I have an idea / am looking for....
I have been trying to find something that lets me scroll through a list that lets me choose to add a preset message at be bottom of my post.
Examples would be:
"You are my neighbor in (Group Name) today"
"This photo has been seen in _____"
"Checkout my photostream here"
I hope this is the right place for this request...

Depends on what you mean by scroll through a list...
If you want to quickly add generic comments/ award codes etc to a photo description you can do this with my CodePaster app. It works with any browser, and does not require you to install anything.
It makes a bookmarklet which inserts the award code (or whatever you type into the box) so after making the bookmarklet you can insert the text by just clicking the bookmarklet.
You can make as many as you require, so you could make one for each of the above examples, and put them into a folder in your links/ bookmarks toolbar for easy access/ organisation.
To create something that browses flickr in the same way as the flickr site and give the ability to add custom comments would be breaking the API terms of use, or at least close to it, so I doubt I would work on an app to do that.

Louise - Paisley I have used your CodePaster for exactly this, and it works wonderfully, thanks for making this available for general use. Very well done... cheers.... :)

I'd like to see an app that can let me post a photo in many groups very simple like, the current (built in) group selector takes way too much of my time (i'm in China so flickr is always slow).
Basically you could use the original idea, only allow users to select all the groups they wish to send their photo, then with the click of a single button the API would send the photo to all of the selected groups.
That would be a huge time saver for me! Thanks in advance, should you decide to make one!
