About Lost Weekends

Lost Weekend

Photos of the international symbol of boozing it up, the martini glass. Not the actual glass itself, but the glass as featured on bar signs, bar doors, lounges, restaurants... any establishment that sells booze and features a martini glass.

Your photo must feature a martini glass prominently, and we'd prefer that it be the main focus of the photo. (ie; the bar's sign with the glass, rather than the sign and the entire bar) However, we won't get too picky as long as the international booze symbol is there, beckoning you to "drink up".

No photos of martinis themselves (or the real glasses), unless it's part of the advertising. Oh, and no booze company ads featuring them. We're looking for signage, doors and the like. Neon is, of course, very welcome here.

Also welcome, and must have a martini glass on them: Ashtrays, matchbook covers, cocktail napkins, bar towels.

Note: If you're posting a sign that's vintage, please consider also adding it to the group "I Love Old Signs!". We'd love to have it there too!
