Another excellent resource that people who have lost or found cameras or photographs should use is the Found Cameras and Orphan Pictures website (which is not associated with this group in any way - it's just such a helpful resource that it should be mentioned here).

About Lost and Found Camera and Photos

I started this group when I lost my camera in Positano, Italy. I thought it would be a great meeting place for 'finders and losers' to post and search for images.

Three years later and I'm not giving up hope. I encourage anyone with a found camera to post a couple of images. Or, if you were lucky enough to download some images before you lost your camera, please post them. It just might make a big difference.

With each posting, it becomes more heartbreaking to hear the stories of the lost pictures, but we are all here tied to some hope that a stranger will find a camera or SD card and reunite them with the owners!

In the meantime, I will enjoy the journey and I hope you will, too.

In addition to searching here, you should also go over to Found Cameras and Orphan Pictures. As mentioned above, it is not associated in any way, just another link to look for your pictures or help someone find theirs!
