About LOST SECOND LIFE
Second Life does change. Not always to better, indeed.
Many worthy and beloved places have been and every day are hit by lack of money and by tier tyranny. Or just by bad management or even by the desire to be “up to date”. Very often, the dreams of passionate residents and builders crash into cynic land policies or into silly fights between owners, and great places disappear. This makes all of us poorer and our Second World uglier.
Everyone of us keeps memory of such places, and very often we had saved pics of them. This group has the aim to preserve at least the memory of these lost worlds.
Feel free to add to the photostream the pictures of places you took in the past and you think can be useful to that goal.
The only limits are public interest and decency: then, refrain to add things like “my first home”, or disappeared adult places’s pics.
Feel free also to add your pics a description about the portraited place, to start discussions and to invite more friends who would share our goal.
Some of the pics could portray places that owners just changed in major details or completely rebuilt, even in new locations. Or even places built just for a limited time and then removed from the grid. When you should add such pics, pls, write a short note about it.
