About Looking at Music: Side 2
Welcome!
Welcome to the official flickr group of The Museum of Modern Art's exhibition Looking at Music: Side 2, a survey of over 120 photographs, music videos, drawings, audio recordings, publications, Super 8 films, and ephemera that look at New York City from the early 1970s to the early 1980s, a time when the city was a haven for young renegade artists who often doubled as musicians and poets.
Have your photos displayed on MoMA.org!
Do you have photos or video from this era? Photos of LPs and singles? Flyers from live shows? We invite you to share your photos and memorabilia, along with any stories or remembrances of this time.
Please note that any photos from this flickr group may be published on the exhibition's sub-site. By posting your photos in this flickr group, you are giving The Museum of Modern Art permission to display the photos on its website, and to crop and resize them as necessary. All photos will be credited and displayed with a link back to the original photo on flickr. Also please note that this group is moderated and photos that do not relate to the Museum or that the Museum otherwise deems inappropriate will not be published.
Looking at Music: Side 2 is on view from June 10 to November 30, 2009, with an accompanying film series in The Roy and Niuta Titus Theaters to commence in September 2009. For more information and program schedules, visit www.moma.org/visit/calendar/exhibitions/959.
