23 Jun 11 - Look11 is now drawing to a close and I would like to say many thanks to you all for your contributions, discussions and advice on this group. It has been a pleasure seeing all your images and your perspectives on Liverpool. This group officially closed with regards to themes, but if you would like to continue uploading images relating to Liverpool we would be delighted to see them.

Look will return in 2013 with another festival, so your support between now and then is very much appreciated.

About Look11 Liverpool International Photography Festival

Look2011: Liverpool International Photography Festival sets out to explore the questions posed by photography's enduring role within the city of Liverpool, famous for mixing politics and culture. The festival will focus on Liverpool's 2011 'Year of Social Justice' and 'City of Radicals' theme, where the festival will pose the question 'A Call to Action?' encouraging the audience to stop, think, examine and debate photography.

Through opportunities, workshops, fairs, exhibitions and events the festival promises to engage with professionals, enthusiasts and amateurs.The Flickr group is but one strand of our online presence with monthly themes set to call photographers to post, discuss and get involved. Each month the Look11 team will choose the best of those images uploaded which will then be showcased on the website. Look11 invite you to show your stuff!!
