Street Art in London became popular culture some years ago after imploding in commercial media. Street Artists such as Banksy have inspired an entire generation of punch-packed slogan based eye-candy which on the whole are pleasing to virtually all exposed to the future classics of our time.
London is a hotbed of creative talent whom regard the fair city as their blank canvas. It was recently stated in art magazines that you'll find more street art per square inch in Brick Lane, Shoreditch and Hackney than anywhere else in the UK. Works of art are created on such a frequent basis that many works are so short lived they may only be visible for a matter of days before the next artist does their thang!
Though London based we plan to show artwork from around the world. LSD believe that such works of art should be documented and seen by the world so the original artists can be recognised as the geniuses some of them really are. So step aside Warhol, Gough, Hirst because the Boys have rolled into town...
