27 Jul 09 - Welcome to all London moth-ers and butterfly minds.

Please remember to geotag your images, and tag them with common and Linnaean names if you can.

If you can also add superfamily / family / subfamily name it will allow us to do maps and searches for similar species. Admins may add these tags at moderation stage, but it would save us some work if you can do it.

Tags describing location are appreciated but not essential.

About London lepidoptera

Wild moths and butterflies seen within the area bounded by the M25.

Please geotag your images, and tag them with common and Linnaean names. This will enable them to show up on the group maps. If you are unsure about their names, please use the help thread.

If you took a photo of a moth or butterfly in your home, and are uncomfortable about geotagging the precise location, feel free to geotag it to a location within 1 km in a similar area. This is to help build up a map of where we are seeing the various species.

Eggs, caterpillars and pupae are welcome, but only if they are lepidopteran!
