Unexpected, or surprising Glimpses of the London Eye
The London Eye (AKA Millenium Wheel) is visible from many places around London and this group is for photos which show just part of the London Eye when the whole Eye is obscured. This can include photos which were taken from behind a building, or through a window of a building, car, bus etc, or any other location in which the Eye was partially hidden. The key word here is GLIMPSE. See the group icon to get the idea.
Please take note:
Photos which show part of the Eye when the whole Eye could have been seen will be deleted - this means that close ups of sections of the Eye, or pods, or parts of the machinery will be deleted. To help understand what may be deleted, please study the Exhibition of non-glimpses.
Photos which show the whole Eye from locations such as Westminster Bridge or Hungerford Bridge or Victoria Embankment will also be deleted!
There are two general London Eye Pools where you can post all your total shots and pics of pods and machinery.
Please forgive us for going Round and Round and On and On with the rules. We really do want your Glimpses, which are Sudden, Amusing, Unexpected, Cheeky, Partial, Odd, Distant and many other types of non-obvious views of the London Eye.
