About London Deserves Better

Enough is enough. We're fed up with London's Evening Standard's headlines ramping up the hysteria, and adding to the climate of fear. It's frankly embarrassing.

This is the flickr photo pool for you to post your photos of Evening Standard headlines, and make your comments about them - to respond in a public forum and redress the lack of balance created by the ES.

Back in the 1970s, when my Dad came home from work he used to bring back either the Evening Standard or the Evening News. Two papers to balance each other out.

Not anymore. The Evening News was eventually taken over by the Standard, so from that point on, London only had one newspaper.

One extreme paper (Standard) and a sea of environmentally wasteful free papers clogging up the transport system.

It's not right.
London is an internationally renowned city, a financial centre, and it is culturally and historically second to none.

London deserves better.
