08 Feb 11 - Could we just remind potential posters to this group that we DO NOT wish to see posts of political demos, anti war protests, or anything or that nature. As has been stated before, this isn't political censorship, it just isn't what this group is about.
We are interested in any aspect of London's wartime past upto and including Cold War area bunkers etc. For London, we are really talking about the old GLC/LCC area or to make life easier, anything inside the M25 area.

About London at warAnything pertaining directly to London's experience of war, including World Wars I and II - and perhaps the Cold War. We are defining London as the area within the M25, which is especially appropriate here, since the motorway approximately follows the line of London's outer defences in the second world war. |
