Dear fellow-flickrist, friend and London lover,

This is your bus conductor speaking, on a sightseeing tour of London.

This is not just 'another' group... it is a kinda "club" offering a new perspective of London's street scape, immortalised from the windows of an double-decker bus, as new vistas are unfolding.

There is a certain immediacy to the shooting as the bus moves on or certain obstructions get in the way: lamp posts, scaffolding, cranes, other mammoth double-deckers, just as you want to shoot your preferred frame which is ruined in a split-second - these make the shoot more spontaneous and perhaps more realistic/newsworthy... it also keeps the heart racing!
Sometimes the bus windows are dirty or reflect unusual light which may cause the image to be blurred and sometimes cause it to be less sharp: this is inevitable, something which adds to the personality of the reportage, something which defines its identity. You can make it happen and you will be surprised by your own results.

Do join and have fun - you will find it a revealing and thought-provoking experience.
You may want be an enthusiastic passenger, taking pictures, or perhaps a ticket inspector or even a co-driver of this special double-decker bus.
