23 Jan 10 - Photos of the I'm A Photographer Not A Terrorist demo in Trafalgar Square are welcome

No tourist traps, no flowers, no squirrels, and no sunsets please. PHOTOS SHOULD BE OF LONDON. Also, since apparently we need to spell this out, NO PORN; this includes 'amusing' photos of scrota.

If you're not sure what sort of photos belong here, this discussion thread is a good place to start.

About London-alt

Alt London Photogroup

There are several existing London Flickr photo groups but none of them, as far as I can tell, specialise in the darker, less glamorous side of the city.

This is group for photographs, not videos and not your own drawings or sketches.

Basically, if an image is suitable for use on a tin of souvenir shortbread, inclusion in a Richard Curtis movie or, particularly, an Olympic Bid promotional video it probably doesn't belong here. The London Eye, Big Ben, St Paul's Cathedral, Trafalgar Square, Hyde Park and other iconic London sights most probably don't belong here. Neither do squirrels, flowers, or sunsets.

Photographs taken at Kew Gardens are liable to be deleted on sight.

NO SULTAN'S ELEPHANT PICS.

Cheers
