Hampstead Heath has some good views
The Archway
Alexandra Palace - great views from the hill there
A bit near into London ... primrose Hill by Regents Park is okay
South of the River --- Greenwich Park, by the Old Observatory at the top of the hill is great for the docklands
The hills in Richmond are pretty good for long views over West London

Pretty much anywhere along the Thames ... there's a nice view of Tower Bridge from here.

The London Eye is probably a bit obvious and a little pricy, but just a few minutes walk along the south bank is the oxo tower which has a viewing gallery which is ok and free. A little further down stream the Tate Modern also has a viewing gallery overlooking St Paul's and the city, this is also free.

I also would recommend the Tate modern balcony. Its great for views of Saint Paul's and the bridge

A little further out for panoramic views - Epsom downs in the west, and Shooter's Hill in the east

Thanks for the suggestion guys! I have about two days left in London. I've already been to all of those places. Are there any other places worth considering?

Get a boat from, say, Westminster to Greenwich
and back (this is on the way back):
(taken with a 17mm fisheye - that's me on the left!)
There are also some great shots up at the various bridges.
