Wimbledon Tennis Club

Hi all,

I'm going to be in Wimbledon soon on a commission to photograph some local sights and wanted to get some shots of the Tennis Club. Getting access to the grounds to photograph it is proving depressingly difficult - I was wondering if anybody knew of any vantage points (hills, car parks - anywhere that is public property), nearby that allowed a view over the site? Doesn't have to be right next to it (I"m not going to be climbing trees to look over fences!).

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Jim

Hi Jim,

Across from the tennis club is a public park, however it's on the same level so you're not really going to have a great vantage point inside. I'd recommend walking around the street on the back of the tennis centre as it's uphill and you might get decent shots, at least of Henman Hill.

Have fun,
Tammy

Thanks Tammy! I'll head to that road and have a good wander around.
