There's nothing more frustrating than having a great new lens and realising that you've *done* Soho, The Embankment, The South Bank, Islington and The City - Camden doesn't appeal, the light is awful and it's windy.

I just wondered if anyone could recommend some indoor inspiration? Or other favourites?

I go back to favorite places frequently. The light angles change with the season and there's always a new mix of people and events. In bad weather I tend to shoot closer, with tighter compositions.

Canary Wharf for sure.

Kew Gardens, Richmond, Chelsea, and Primrose Hill also worth a go

Canary Wharf is a bit sterile though, super windy, and not much "indoors".

V&A and Tate are my faves if the rain is coming down, but if today's weather isn't good enough you're only going to have one or two good days!

The Tate modern is good especially when there is an exhibition in the turbine hall, which sadly is empty right now.

The grand hall at the British Museum in Bloomsbury is good, on a sunny day the light is great as there is a glass roof.
