Cheap Photo Frames

view profile

Az Kola says:

Hi everyone,

Been looking for some cheap frames to buy but I can't seem to find anything cheap on the net.
I was wondering if someone knows places in London that sell frames.

I am planning to exhibit some of photos so some cheap frames are required at this time because the money just isn't there.

Many Thanks

Az

Unfortunately, I don't think there's anywhere cheaper than Ikea. The other possibility you might be to consider is direct mounting on to something like Foamcore or MDF, but even that might not work out much, if any, cheaper and would entail quite a bit of work.

Here's a 'How to' on using foamcore - if you leave a border it can look quite nice.

Places like Matalan sometimes do cheap framed 'art'.
Remove the 'art' and insert your own photo.

Though I bet IKEA is still cheaper.

charity shops have frames that you could take the old picture out and put your photo in.
