I am keen to gather any pictures you might have where old telephone codes are still visible. I have been asked if shots of numbers within old ads and literature are welcome but, let's face it, we could easily go to an archive library and find hundreds of old codes by opening a copy of a 1950's London newspaper! So, please try to restrict your submissions to those numbers you find out in the open... on old signs and defunct alarm bells etc....

About LON TEL LET exchange codesThere are still many old telephone numbers dotted around London on old signs that show theold exchanges to denote the area code. For example HOL = Holborn, EUS = Euston. |
