About Lomo Moments
Lomo is a term used for photos that are fun but not necessarily technically correct, so accidental effects such as light leaks, double exposures, over-saturated colours, and blurry shots are very common. The term comes from the Russian Lomo factory brand name, as most Lomographers used to use mainly Russian film cameras such as the Lomo LC-A, although many now use the Diana's and Holga's that are made outside Russia. Have a look at www.lomography.com and en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lomography and you will get the idea! My interpretation is anything that makes photography fun! : )
NB This group used to be called Lomo-Digital, but I have extended the scope to include photos taken on film cameras - thi is because I did not really like the prescriptive attitudes in some existing Lomo groups, so it seemed hypocritical to exclude film camera shots frm this group! : )
