Leicester, old roman town, with a Georgian quarter. With its own cathedral and diverse centres for worship. Its two shopping centres, the Highcross and the Haymarket. The pedestrian streets and its enormous under cover market. It's French connections through Simon DeMontfort and its present day multi-cultural variety. Not forgetting its mix of architecture from Victorian, postwar through the vast sweeping away of buildings and roads for the modern development of the city as we know it from the 70's onwards. Leicester is my home town despite leaving the city in 1997. What is it to you?
