About Live Picture

This group is only for users (current and past) of Live Picture imaging software which was produced by Live Picture Corp, and later by MGI.

Live Picture is a now defunct digital imagining program which many felt was the ideal program for working with large composite images. On older computers it was blazingly fast. One the Mac platform, it was only usable up to OS 9 (or in Classic mode up to Power PC version 10.4) Sadly is does not work on the Mac Intel computers... I wish it did! I believe all of us LP users keep an older Mac around so we can continue to use Live Picture.

I think I can safely say that all of us who have used LP, still wish the program would be brought back to life. I still think Live Picture was much faster with large multi layered images on my antique Apple Quadra 950 updated to a Power PC 100 MHz than Photoshop is on my 2.3 GHz Intel Mac.
