About Literary Interpretation

Manifesto:

We are dedicated to the visual interpretation of texts/books/literary works. Some simple guidelines follow and MUST be followed:

NO cheesy images please, that is absolutely NO cliché pictures of cats, babies, flowers or similar that look like they belong in a third rate wall calendar or cheap tourist postcard. However, ALL subjects are acceptable, providing they are depicted in an intelligent, cultured and tasteful way. Though these are indeed highly subjective issues we will, being the benevolent autocrats we are, naturally allow for a certain degree of individuality and artistic license. An appropriately dark sense of humour is encouraged and much appreciated.

Images MUST please be accompanied with the title of the work or a quote, and the author.

Image quality is not an issue, we are not elitists. We prefer images without any kind of manipulation or post-production. Very well, if you must, but keep it to a minimum. Remember, we are watching.

Though this site WILL be administered like a harsh iron fisted dictatorship with all the rights we think this gives us reserved, it will be done in the nicest possible way, with tact, diplomacy and sensitivity. Promise. Any images considered to violate the aforementioned guidelines will be tactfully, diplomatically and sensitively withdrawn, discharged, removed, sacked, obliterated and summarily dismissed without mercy or a fair trial.

We're sure you get the picture.

Now go forth and Interpret!
