About Literary Reference in Pictures: post one, comment one (or two!)
Statistics for Flickr group: Literary Reference in Pictures: post one/comment one - one a day
You are challenged to create a visual image inspired by the written word. Your photo should be your interpretation of a quotation from literature: fiction, non-fiction, biography, poetry, plays, religious writings, children's literature, comic books, newspaper, song lyrics etc. -- and don't forget to include both the quote and the author's name.
You may title your photo anything you like, or create the title from your literary reference.
Reminder: The only requirement is that you include the literary reference in the description of your photo, as well as an author's name.
There's a world of literature out there, so please just get involved, have fun, and share your photos & ways of doing things.
Post-processing is absolutely allowed with no limits. Let your creativity flow!
Please note that while we do not have a lot of rules to say what you can quote, we do require a quote and an author - if you don't have an author's name for your quote, please list as unknown, or anonymous.
Your own poetry is also allowed here, but please, sign your name to it as the author. We ask that your own poetry should be a piece of work that you have created rather than a simple setting out of your description in poetry format.
Admin reserves the right to remove any entries to the pool, particularly when there is no quote or author. We sincerely appreciate your participation in commenting on the contributions of others!
One more thing, we have a very mixed membership and, out of respect for different groups we would ask that you post no overt nudity that may be seen as offensive to some.... please be sensitive in this and think of others.
