12 May 09 - a group dedicated to liquid courage. that little extra guts you gave yourself to make you step out of your comfort zone. to approach a stranger, experiment with your camera settings, climb on that rooftop for the nice view, forget about the rule of thirds... anything that made you take a photograph you probably would not have taken sober, but that you still cherish regardless (or because) of that.

About rule of third beers

some basics:

* this group is not about random drunk photographs. no blurry undefined stuff (unless it's good), no pictures of a group of drunks (unless it's good). it's about the buzz.

* group name should not be taken too literal. anything intoxicating that works for you is fine, be it three beers, two glasses of wine, half a bottle of whiskey, 30 espresso shots, sleep deprivation, a joint or winning the lottery.

* upon joining you contribute 1 or 2 images. no innocent bystanders here.

* we have to trust you. be fair, only submit pictures taken under the influence of something. anything that looks like it was taken sober or on the verge of alcohol poisoning will be booted. anything that looks like it should have been taken sober or on the verge of alcohol poisoning will be, too.
since we are just starting out we'll see what we get first, but this is a curated group.

* admins will try to curate when sober.

* admins do not hold any responsibility, whatsoever, for alcoholic consumption, or possible increase there of, of group members.

* no barfights. threads that serve solely to provoke or insult the members and administrators of the group are subject to deletion or closure. if you have an issue, take it outside and send a flickr mail.
