As this group approaches its one-year anniversary (Sept. 18), we find ourselves in crisis. A crisis of identity. I need your help. If you have a few minutes please read the discussion board entry on the Kayak Question. (In a nutshell, should WILTBM accept a POV photo looking out over the bow of a kayak?)

Please let me know what you think.

Our guidelines are arbitrary, but do they lack an internal logic? The case of the kayak. reallyoldman666 4 17 months ago

About What It's Like To Be Me

The title says it all.
What is it like to be You?
We're shy people, many of us. We get our cameras and take pictures of our own feet.

Not all of us though. Some of us take pictures of ourselves in anything that will reflect our glowing images. Others like to show the world what it's like when we look at our own shadows.

There may be other techniques. In the end, it's about showing the world what it looks like from your eyes.

But there's a catch. Two rules.

1. POV images that pound home the point that this is what it looks like from your eyes.

2. This usually means you have to have a personal body part, your shadow, or your reflection in the frame somewhere.

I love all the photos you send, I'm trying to edit more so that you can create a group that clearly, unambiguously says What It's Like To Be Me.
