11 Jun 07 - With almost any camera capable of all-manual control, you can photograph the common eastern USA firefly, Photinus pyralis, in flight. This famous unique bug with its own light source is also a great photographic subject. When he flies, he flashes and pauses a brief instant, hovers, so the light is his signal that he is about to pose for a photo. Post any photo of any firefly worldwide, in flight or not. enjoy.
