About ~ The Incredible Lightness of Being ~

Description: This group is about people who fly, float, glide, soar, levitate... who are basically lighter than air! The main idea is to convey freedom from the physical bondage of this world. Only artistic renditions of high quality are accepted here! I accept post processed photographs or realistic artwork.

There are not a lot of these types of pictures on flickr. So please feel free to invite a good image to this group when you see it! I don't expect the number of images to be high... only the quality!

Images of people lofted by small balloons or birds are acceptable. The person should be aloft, and not have the impression of simply leaping or falling, although it is not always easy to tell the difference from someone who is flying. The image should definitely have an impression of lightness, so people who are struggling or fearful are not appropriate.

Please note that the flying people featured in this pool should not have wings on. Images of winged people should be submitted to my other group:
