The Sun and Doves’ WorldWide Open Photographic Exhibition

Flickr members are invited to submit work for inclusion in the Sun and Doves’ WorldWide Open Photography Show, to be held at The Sun and Doves, London se5 (UK), in December 2006.

Maximum three entries per person; any subject within bounds of good taste, not offensive (judges\' decision final and no correspondence entered into over grounds for rejection). Selection will be by independent judges (i.e. not me) with extensive experience of major internationally recognized exhibitions (Royal Academy etc).

Maximum 200 entries to be exhibited.

Fee: 15 Euros per image submitted - for handling costs and printing of selected images in archive quality inks on Hahnemuhle 100% cotton rag paper at A3 print size including costs of framing images chosen for exhibition.

Individuals selected will receive a certificate of inclusion and photographs of final show by email. Ideally you will be able to attend the private view but given the world’s size, this may not be possible.

All work must be available for sale at £75 per print (unframed) £110 (framed). We cover costs of administering sales of all work and charge 25% per print sold. Any copyright issues invested in the individual works must be made clear in advance. We will not accept any responsibility for unwittingly reproducing images not sanctioned by their owner.

There will be three prizes (no one could possibly envy the judges!):

Best in show (£500 equivalent)
Two runners up £250 each)
Plus a special category prize for \'most extraordinary image\' of show (£250).
There will also be six \'highly commended\' awards, with no monetary value, for damn fine creative photography.
