About Tube stations of Leslie Green (Exterior shots only)

Whilst many people associate the tube with Charles Holden's iconic outer-London designs of the 1930s and 40s, central London is still dominated by Leslie Green's equally iconic deep-red terra cotta stations of the 1900s.

Between 1905-07 Green designed dozens of these stations for the original opening of the Piccadilly, Bakerloo and what later became part of the Northern line. Many of these stations still stand, instantly recognisable, and this group is intended for photos of their exteriors, whether used or disused.
