EXTRAORDINARY BEACH Phone Shot Contest:
"Muizenberg huts" by chickkoo



I've always seen those bathing huts when I go past there on a train and never had the opportunity or made the time to stop and take pictures. It was only when the film I was working on shot there and we had our basecamp just on the pavement across from those huts that I grabbed the opportunity to take the snapshot. :) I'm quite pleased with the way it came out, and rather astounded by all the attention it has received on flicr.

About me - I live in Cape Town, South Africa and work in film when there is work to be had. I do continuity for films. Basically, that means I make sure things remain the same from scene to scene - no jewellery that disappears and reappears randomly, etc. Ultimately, though I'm going to direct films, which is where my love of photography comes from - moving pictures. I just also like taking still images from time to time.

Note: The 'Taken with Nokia N73' proves that the photo was taken with a cameraphone. The league may use any brand of cameraphones they like.

6. Nudity is allowed as long as it doesn't show someone's crotch area.

7. Post processed / software enhance photos are welcome as long as the brand of cameraphone appears once clicked. See rule # 4.

8. Finally, your photo must have that, 'WOW!' factor in order to be in the league. The more of the, 'Oh no! This is not a celphone shot!', the more it is considered in the LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY PHONE SHOTS.
